Here are the steps to plan a project:

Have a look through my  >portfolio< and >archives<.  Do you see something that gives you a positive feeling?  Perhaps it’s the sense of balance or certain colors?  Do you want angles or curves?  Many colors or just one or two?

Consider optimal size: measure your space and think about the space around the painting.  You may want to have the painting fill the wall and feel like a mural, or have something smaller, leaving a frame of wall space around it.  

Think about colors and materials:  your painting can be one color, black and white, or the entire spectrum.  

Elements of texture, wood, gold or silver leaf can be incorporated for subtle or eye-catching detail.  

I am best known for my encaustic paintings on wood, but so also paint with acrylic and oil on canvas.  There are so many options and the best choices may depend on environmental factors.

Talk to me!  I will help narrow down to two or three choices. 

When we find something that works, I will put together a price estimate and an estimated time-line for completion.  

Once a project has been agreed upon, and a deposit is paid, I will make sketches and color samples to determine that you are getting exactly what you want.

When you are happy with a plan, I will order materials and start painting.
